The Wang Family Ancestral Hall was first built in the 11th year of the Tongzhi reign and completed in the 1st year of the Guangxu reign. The ancestral hall is a classic example of Huizhou-style architecture, facing south and exuding grandeur. It is 18 meters wide and 66 meters deep, covering a total area of 1,188 square meters. The entire structure consists of three courtyards, comprising a front courtyard, main gate, theater stage, passageway hall, main hall, and rear hall. At the entrance to the first courtyard stands a pair of strikingly large stone drum flagpole bases, with one drum weighing as much as one ton. The main structure of the ancestral hall is built with a brick-and-wood frame, featuring interior post-and-lintel construction enclosed by high walls. The middle passageway hall is paved with bluestone slabs, while the main hall boasts massive purlins and pillars — six of the golden pillars each have a girth of over four feet. The hall is 14 meters tall, with beams intricately carved with historical drama figures, accompanied by auspicious clouds and colorful patterns. The column capitals follow the standard southern style, interlocked at the joints and adorned with wooden carvings of elephants, lions, and ruyi symbols, all painted in vermilion and gold leaf, making the figures vividly lifelike. The theater stage and rear hall feature “ruyi bracket arms” and “hollow-carved decorations,” offering rich variations. The surrounding area is lined with plaques, presenting an imposing and magnificent overall appearance. In terms of architectural form, scale, and unique location, it is known as the “Number One Ancestral Hall in Northern Fuliang.”

Construction Control Zone: Extending 30 meters outward to the east, south, west, and north from the protected area boundary. Maximum Construction Height: 6.3 meters. Area: 8,122.91 square meters.
