The Former Site of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Soviet Government (Mao Wan Old House) is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province and a classic red tourism destination.

The Former Site of the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Soviet Government — Mao Wan Old House is located in Damei Village, Qiping Town, Tonggu County. Originally built in the early years of the Republic of China, it is a brick-and-wood structure covering an area of 740 square meters.

In 1934, due to the influence of the "Left" opportunistic line, the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi Provincial Soviet Government was also under great threat. At the most difficult time, it relocated from Xiaoyuan in Wanzai to Mao Wan Old House in Damei Village, Qiping Town, Tonggu County. That year, the local residents voluntarily offered their homes and shared their limited food supplies to support the provincial Soviet government through tough times, making an indelible contribution to the victory of the Chinese revolution. Although the local populace suffered under the repression of reactionary forces during the Great Revolution and this site was looted and damaged, it has been well-preserved by local villagers to this day and remains open to the public year-round.
