Baizhu Village
Baizhu Township is a township under the jurisdiction of Xiangdong District, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province. Located in the southeastern part of Xiangdong District, it sits at the junction of four counties and districts from both Jiangxi and Hunan provinces (Youxian, Lianhua County, Luxi County, and Xiangdong District), approximately 30 kilometers from downtown Pingxiang.
The township covers a total area of 176 square kilometers, predominantly mountainous, with a total forested area of 240,000 mu and a forest coverage rate of over 80%. The region boasts rich vegetation, including nationally protected tree species such as ginkgo and yew.
The human-shaped waterfall in Baizhu is quite a remarkable spot in the area. However, the road leading to it is not very well developed, and the path to the waterfall itself is somewhat rugged — though this also helps preserve the site.
