Taihe Baiyun Mountain Battle Command Post
The Taihe Baiyun Mountain Battle Command Post is a classic red tourism attraction.
Baiyun Mountain Battle Command Post: Near Ziyao Mountain in the southeastern part of the county, beneath a rocky outcrop on the western side of Baiyun Mountain, there used to be an ancient temple. In 1931, during the second counter-"encirclement and suppression" campaign, the Red Army established a command post here. Mao Zedong directed the Red Army to victory in the second counter-"encirclement and suppression" from this location and left behind the widely celebrated famous lines: "Clouds rise on Baiyun Mountain’s peak; / Below the mountain, urgent cries speak." The site has now been restored at its original location, with a construction area of 350 square meters.
It houses the “Baiyun Mountain Battle Command Post Exhibition Room.”
