In Dayuchang Village, Jinxi Village, Nanxi Township, there is an ancient structure named “Qilong Pavilion.” It was first built during the Chenghua era of the Ming Dynasty by Long Bo, and later completed during the Jiading era by Long Zhongwu. The reason for constructing Qilong Pavilion was that the residents of Dayuchang, all surnamed Long, lived on land shaped like a wooden raft, while the neighboring village of Shanglong, inhabited by people surnamed Zhou, was situated on land resembling a white tiger and had built a nunnery called “Duoguling,” with round windows on either side of the gate that resembled the open mouth of a white tiger. At the time, Dayuchang sought to counteract the clash between the dragon and tiger. Therefore, Long Bo built Qilong Pavilion to counter the “Duoguling” of Shanglong.

Jinxi Village: Jinxi Village is a major administrative village located in the southeastern part of Nanxi Township, Taihe County. It is 5 kilometers from the township government seat. The village governs 18 village groups, has 567 households, a total population of 2,368, 7 village cadres, and 52 Party members. The village covers an area of 5.6 square kilometers, including 4,999 mu of arable land.
