The former residence of Li Guangdi is a cultural tourism attraction.

Introduction The former residence of Li Guangdi is located in Huer Village, Hutou Town, Anxi County. Originally built in the 37th year of the Kangxi reign (1698 AD), it served as the residence of Li Guangdi, who was both a Grand Secretary of the Wenyuan Pavilion and Minister of Personnel. The building covers an area of 3,120 square meters. In 1986, overseas relatives from the Li family funded its restoration. Li Guangdi (1642–1718), courtesy name Jinqing, style name Hou’an, also known as Rongcun, was a native of Hutou in Anxi, Quanzhou. He was a descendant of Li Boyao, a pioneer in opening up Zhangzhou and a General Fu Sheng. His ancestral family originated from Dudo Village, Punan Town, Xiangcheng District, Zhangzhou City. Later, guided by the feng shui master Huang Miaoying, his ancestors relocated Li Boyao’s tomb to Dudo and, following Huang's advice, settled in Hutou (there’s more to this story).

In the ninth year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1670), he passed the imperial examination and became a Hanlin academician, eventually rising to the position of Grand Secretary of the Wenyuan Pavilion and Minister of Personnel.
