Hanxu Pavilion

Hanxu Pavilion is a cultural tourism attraction.

Located in Fengshan Forest Park. Built in 2000. The pavilion covers a floor area of 264 square meters, stands 13.16 meters tall, has three single-story levels, and is built with reinforced concrete. Including auxiliary constructions, the total investment was 550,000 yuan. The first floor features a couplet written by You Mengjun, the then County Party Secretary: “A thousand peaks surround the town; a river embraces the city.” The second floor features a couplet written by Tang Jianhua, the then Director of the County People’s Congress: “Before the green mountains and after the blue lake, among the vivid landscapes who can find joy? Before the ancients and after the successors, in this timeless world what is my purpose?” The third floor features a couplet written by Su Yulin, the then Chairman of the County Political Consultative Conference: “Amidst embracing woods, the Taiji diagram gives birth to great visions; as the phoenix spreads its wings, the global village teems with dragons.” From the pavilion, one can overlook the full panorama of Fengcheng.
