Nanheti South Pavilion

Nanheti South Pavilion, also known as the "Longevity Pavilion," is located on a stone bridge over the eastern river of Nanheti Village in Wu'an City. The bridge was built in the early Qing Dynasty and underwent renovation in the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920). It serves as a temple dedicated to the river god. The stone bridge is built upon natural rock formations on both sides of the river, with its surface surrounded by bluestone balustrades and pillars. The tops of the pillars feature stone lions and stone monkeys in various poses, all exquisitely carved. The pavilion is built in the middle section of the stone bridge, with a width and depth of three bays each, double-eaved and in the hip-and-gable roof style covered with glazed yellow tiles. The lower level includes a corridor, and the structure reaches a total height of [meter value missing]. This architectural complex seamlessly integrates the bridge and the pavilion, combining functions of worship and transportation, and boasts strong local characteristics.
