Wu'an Dongshan Cultural Park

Dongshan Cultural Park is situated on the north side of National Highway 309 in Wu'an City, Hebei Province. With picturesque lakes and mountains, and elegantly arranged pavilions, the park covers more than 500 acres and is a premium cultural destination that combines cultural tourism, vacation leisure, dining, and entertainment. The 500-acre park includes eight themed areas: the Cultural Zone, Geological Zone, Botanical Zone, Amusement Zone, Cultural & Entertainment Zone, Water Park Zone, Animal Zone, and Supporting Services Zone.

Centered around culture and technology, Dongshan Cultural Park allows visitors to subtly absorb cultural inspiration and appreciate the essence of Wu'an’s profound historical and modern culture. It is a cultural park that encompasses Wu'an’s ancient culture, modern culture, folk culture, traditional arts, theatrical culture, and revolutionary culture.

A grand archway standing 15.6 meters tall and a 30-meter-long screen wall-style stele corridor highlight the park’s cultural theme. The front of the archway, which embodies the park’s founding philosophy, features two pairs of couplets. The cultural and historical stele corridor within the park consists of 70 bluestone slabs, each 2 meters high and 0.7 meters wide, engraved with the "Brief Chronicles of Wu'an History," documenting significant historical events in the region. The park’s Xiufeng Mountain derives its name from Yang Xiufeng, former chairman of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Region Government. At the heart of the park lies the Central Exhibition Area, which houses the Cultural History Museum, Revolutionary History Exhibition Hall, and Qunxian Residence. The Wu'an Cultural History Museum is designed in the style of a traditional Wu'an residence and features exhibition rooms dedicated to ancient history, theatrical arts, legends, Taoist culture, Buddhist culture, and vintage photos of Wu'an—showcasing the city’s deep cultural roots, outstanding artistic heritage, traditional religious culture, and rich folk art.
