Jiufeng Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Year built: Qing Dynasty

Location: Sanfeng Village, Xiling Township, Pingnan County

Introduction: Also known as Jiufeng Chanlin, it was first built in the first year of the Jingtai era of the Ming Dynasty (1450), rebuilt in the second year of the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty (1797), and later underwent multiple renovations and expansions. The temple complex includes a gate pavilion, front hall, Kuixing Tower, main hall, rear hall, and Guanyin Pavilion, covering a construction area of 1,087 square meters. The main hall is five bays wide and five columns deep, featuring a mixed post-and-lintel and beam-raising timber structure, with a caisson ceiling in the central section.

Protected area: 50 meters outward from the perimeter of the temple.

In 2009, Jiufeng Temple was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Sanfeng Village: Located in the southern part of Xiling Township, Sanfeng Village is about 5 kilometers from the township government seat. The village has 106 households and 418 residents, with approximately 700 mu of arable land.
