Badicuo Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Pingnan County.
Badicuo Bridge is located about 100 meters from the end of Badi Village. It is a flat-beam covered bridge built in the 11th year of the Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty (1516) (according to the Wanli edition of the "Gutian County Annals"), and has been repaired since then. The bridge runs from north to south, covering an area of 192 square meters, with a length of 30 meters, a width of 4 meters, a clear span of 15.7 meters, a height of 3.7 meters, and is 5.8 meters above the water surface. The bridge house has 9 bays and 40 pillars, using a post-and-lintel construction; a shrine dedicated to Lord Lin is located on the eastern side in the middle of the bridge; it features a double-sloped roof. With its long history, the bridge holds certain historical, cultural, and architectural value for the study of ancient covered bridges.
In December 2016, it was designated as a fifth-batch county-level cultural heritage site.
