Dafeng Mountain is located southeast of Molicun Village, Dongyuan Township, Lai Fang County, approximately 45 kilometers from Qingliu County. Its highest peak is Qipan Mountain, standing at an elevation of 1,705.7 meters, making it the tallest peak within Qingliu County. Dafeng Mountain features steep cliffs and rugged terrain, presenting a majestic and precipitous landscape. Legend has it that in ancient times, the Taoist immortal Ouyang Zhenren cultivated himself here, and upon attaining enlightenment, his body transformed into the rocks. During the Chunxi era of the Song Dynasty (1174–1189), local villagers built a temple and enshrined a statue in his honor, naming it the “Shunzhen Taoist Temple.”

Along the way up Dafeng Mountain, there are numerous scenic spots such as the Banshipo Nunnery, Zhao Gong Pavilion, Xianglu Peak, Alchemy Furnace, Ji Zi Rock, Chessboard Stone, Ox Rope Path, and Fan Gan Stone. From the summit of Dafeng Mountain, visitors can enjoy the sunrise and take in panoramic views of the mountains and landscapes of surrounding counties. The mountain is also rich in wild medicinal herbs, which can be easily found. Hence the saying: “The scenery of Fengshan is beautiful, and treasures abound on the mountain.”
