The ruins of the Lower Xie Red Army Bridge are a classic site of red tourism.

The ruins of the Lower Xie Red Army Bridge are located on a small stream in front of Lower Xie Village, Xiexia Town, Qingliu County. On one side of the stream is the natural village of Lower Xie, and on the opposite bank are farmlands and the S204 Provincial Highway that connects Ninghua and Liancheng.

Before the arrival of the Red Army, villagers from Lower Xie had to cross the stream by jumping from one large rock to another placed in the water. This was extremely inconvenient for the elderly, women, and children, and during times of flooding, Lower Xie was almost cut off from the outside world. In January 1931, a detachment of the 101st Regiment of the 12th Red Army once again entered the Lower Xie area to carry out work, helping to establish the Soviet government of Lower Xie Township, and organizing the masses to struggle against local tyrants and distribute land. During their work, the Red Army learned about the villagers' difficulties in crossing the stream. Thinking what the people thought and urgently addressing their needs, all officers and soldiers organized themselves overnight to build a simple wooden bridge for the villagers, facilitating their production and daily life. To commemorate the kindness of the Red Army, the villagers named this bridge the Red Army Bridge.

The original Lower Xie Red Army Bridge was a wooden structure; it has now been replaced by a reinforced concrete bridge, approximately 30 meters long and 3 meters wide.
