The Former Site of Red Army Slogans at the Xie Family Ancestral Hall in Xiexia Village is located in the Xie Family Ancestral Hall in Xiexia Village, Changxiao Town, Qingliu County.

In January 1931, the 101st Regiment of the 12th Red Army in Western Fujian entered the Changxiao and Litian areas in the southwest of Qingliu to carry out work, assisting in establishing local Party branches and governments. During this period, a part of the Red Army was stationed in Xiexia to propagate and mobilize the masses, leading to the establishment of the Xiexia Township Soviet Government. Later, units such as the 7th Independent Division of the Fujian Military District were also stationed here for a time. Xiexia was a model township for the land redistribution movement in Qingliu, and in 1975, relics such as the “Xiexia Village Poor Peasants' League Land Distribution List” were discovered in the village. The Red Army slogans preserved at the Xie Family Ancestral Hall in Xiexia were written by the stationed troops at the time. The slogans consist of five pieces mainly on the right side and rear of the outer wall, and the front, totaling five. The one on the front is a literacy song: “Open your throat and sing mountain songs, singing familiar tunes helps you learn to read, knowing how to read is truly good, you can read, write, and calculate, when singing songs, sing the literacy song, □□□ (the following three lines are illegible).” The two on the right side read “Carry the land revolution deeper!” “Celebrate the victory of land distribution!” and “Equality between men and women, freedom to marry,” signed “420th Independent Regiment of the Red Army (Proclamation)”; the one on the back wall was written by the “7th Independent Regiment of the Red Army,” reading “Eliminate the armed forces of the gentry and landlords!”

The Xie Family Ancestral Hall is a single-story earthen and wooden structure with a central courtyard and one wing room on each side, covering an area of approximately 160 square meters.
