The former site of Red Army slogans at Huang Guomin’s residence in Lai Fang Village is a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of Red Army slogans at Huang Guomin’s residence in Lai’an Village is located at No. 23 Wenchang Lane, Huang Guomin’s house in Lai’an Village, Lai Fang Township, Qingliu County.

In July 1934, the Red 9th Army Corps, while escorting the Red 7th Army Corps northward to resist Japan, passed through areas such as Lai Fang and Sha Wu in Qingliu, forcibly crossed the Jiulong Stream, and entered the Luofang area. Together with the Red 7th Army Corps, they executed a pincer encirclement of the enemy forces defending Yong’an, delivering a powerful shock to them. Between August and September of the same year, after completing their escort mission, the Red 9th Army Corps returned along the same route to Lai Fang, where they engaged in propaganda, mobilized the masses, and carried out the land revolution struggle. The existing Red Army slogans preserved in Huang Guomin’s residence were written by the Red 9th Army Corps during this period while conducting mass work here. The slogans are written on the interior walls of the main hall. There are four sections in total, three of which remain clearly legible, comprising 13 slogans (or panels). Their contents are as follows: “Smash the enemy’s fifth encirclement campaign.” “Annihilate Chiang Kai-shek’s main forces.” “Cut off the enemy’s retreat.” “Disrupt the enemy’s transportation.” “Welcome brothers—desert—and join the Red Army.” “Welcome brothers—overthrow the local tyrants and distribute the land.” “Welcome peasants to rise up on your own to overthrow the local tyrants and distribute the land.” “Soldiers—kill your bloodsucking officers and unite with the Red Army to fight against Japanese imperialism.” “Soldiers—rise up in mutiny, kill the bloodsucking warlords, elect your own leaders, form the Red Army, and join the Soviet revolution.” “Soldiers—are you not thinking of going home? Then quickly desert and come to the Red Army—we will give you travel expenses.” “Annihilate the Big Sword Society.” “Oppose the imperialist carve-up of China.” “Overthrow the Nationalist Government.”

Huang Guomin’s residence has a construction area of about 100 square meters and is a simple one-story wooden civilian house.
