The Houbaishan Great Wall is a cultural heritage site protected by Handan City.

The Houbaishan Great Wall is an ancient structure from the Ming Dynasty, located to the west of Houbaishan Village in Huoshui Township, Wu’an City. It is among the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Handan City.

Huoshui Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Wu’an City. Established in 1953, it was reorganized as a commune in 1958. When Wu’an County was changed to a mining district, it was incorporated into She County but returned to the Wu’an Mining District in 1960. In 1984, it was reinstated as a township. In 1996, it merged with three other townships—Miaoshang, Yangjuan, and Madiantou. Located in the mountainous northwest region of the city, it covers an area of 224 square kilometers with a population of 22,000.
