The Xiadian Temple Stone Carvings are located in Xiadian Temple Village, Huoshui Township, Wu'an City. The Xiadian Temple Stone Carvings are among the second batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Handan City.

Huoshui Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Wu'an City. Established in 1953, it was reorganized as a commune in 1958. When Wu'an County was changed to a mining district, it was placed under the administration of She County. In 1960, it was returned to Wu'an Mining District, and the township was reinstated in 1984. In 1996, it merged with three other townships: Miaoshang, Yangjuan, and Madiantou. It is located in the mountainous northwest region of the city, covering an area of 224 square kilometers with a population of 22,000.
