Taihua Hot Springs The Taihua Hot Springs are located along Provincial Highway 306, just 48 kilometers from the county seat, 80 kilometers from Sanming City, and 80 kilometers from Yong'an City, making them very easily accessible. According to drilling data provided by the Western Fujian Geological Team, a borehole reaching 43 meters showed that the water temperature reaches 84 degrees Celsius, with a daily flow of over 400 tons. If another hot water well is drilled, the daily flow could exceed 800 tons. Based on water quality analysis conducted by the Third Institute of Oceanography of the State Oceanic Administration and the Datian County Health and Epidemic Prevention Station, the spring water is suitable not only for breeding tropical and special fish species, but also, due to its high sulfur content, has significant benefits in preventing and treating certain skin conditions.
