Shipai Hot Spring Resort is located in Shipai Town, Datian County, and primarily utilizes clean geothermal energy resources, offering excellent therapeutic and health benefits. The geothermal hot spring resources in Shipai Town have been explored by the Geological and Mineral Development Institute of the Second Geological Prospecting Bureau of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, confirming the ability to meet the demand for extracting 2,000 tons per day of hot water at 58–60°C. Its source is located at the Shipai interchange of the “Sanquan” Expressway, only 6 kilometers from Datian County town, 100 kilometers from Sanming, 135 kilometers from Quanzhou, and 231 kilometers from Xiamen, making it highly accessible.

Making full use of the hot spring resources and leveraging its proximity to the “Sanquan” Expressway, the resort is situated by Wuling Stream in Shangpo Village, Shipai Town, aiming to establish a renowned mountainous hot spring resort in central Fujian. It features hot spring villas and a hot spring hotel in the surrounding area. The natural hot spring resort village is planned to consist of an open-air hot spring bath, a tourist sightseeing corridor, and a natural sports bath.
