Fujian Zheng Clan Grand Ancestral Hall – Yingyang Ancestral Hall, located in Meiliyang, Taoyuan Town, was first built in the second year of the Xining era during the Northern Song Dynasty (1069). It is one of the earliest grand ancestral halls of the Zheng clan in Fujian Province, and serves as the ancestral temple for national hero Zheng Chenggong (Koxinga) and the Ming Dynasty’s revered statesman and Minister Zheng Ji. In January 2011, Mr. Zheng Zhaoming, Chairman of the Taiwan Workers' Party, President of the Taiwan-Development Promotion Association, and a descendant of Zheng Chenggong, returned to his ancestral home to pay homage and inscribed the phrase “Same Lineage, Same Origin” for the Yingyang Ancestral Hall. It is a provincial-level cultural heritage site related to Taiwan.
