Liujiaogong Reservoir

Liujiaogong Reservoir is located in Pingshan Township and Jiayang Township along the upper reaches of Xianfeng Stream in the southeastern part of Datian County. The reservoir covers an area of 250 hectares with a total storage capacity of 70.9 million cubic meters, and was completed in 1996. Surrounded by undulating mountains and rolling ridges, the area boasts fresh air and is known as a natural oxygen bar, offering visitors the chance to enjoy "forest" breathing amidst lush greenery and clear waters.

China’s First Roller-Compacted Concrete Dam – Kengkou Dam

Kengkou Reservoir is located in Xieyang Township, with the reservoir bay stretching nearly 7 kilometers in total and a storage capacity of 27 million cubic meters.

The Kengkou Dam stands 56.8 meters high and has a crest length of 122.5 meters. In 1984, it was listed as a key industrial experimental project under China’s Sixth Five-Year Plan, and is China’s first roller-compacted concrete dam.

To the southwest of the reservoir lies the Xiangshan Ecotourism Area, while to the northeast one can gaze at the Dagushan Provincial Forest Park. With its pleasant climate, excellent ecological environment, and stunning scenery, the area captivates and enchants all who visit.
