Longhui Fort

Fujian Tulou – Datian’s “Longhui Fort” “Longhui Fort,” located in Mingxi Village, Guangping Town, Datian County, is a square-shaped earthen fort with rounded corners, covering a land area of 2,200 square meters and a built-up area of 1,800 square meters.

Longhui Fort was first built during the Yuan Dynasty and was originally constructed by four families surnamed Chen, Lin, Li, and Xu. It was later taken over by the Chi family, covering an area of 2,200 square meters. The fort is now only left with a single surrounding corridor, while the central two-story pavilion was built after the liberation.
