The Site of the Yindingban Silver Mine is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Age: Song to Ming Dynasties

Location: Dashimo Mountain, Liming Village, Qianping Township, Datian County

Description: A silver smelting site dating from the Song to Ming Dynasties. The site spans an area of about 1,000 meters in length and 600 meters in width. At the eastern foot of the site, there remains a mineral sorting platform from that period, measuring 30 meters in length, 10 meters in width, and about 5 meters in height; as well as relics such as kilns and workshops. On the northwest side of the mountain, there are preserved primitive mining tunnels with an entrance 2 meters wide and 1.8 meters high, extending nearly 100 meters deep, divided into upper and lower levels, and currently well-preserved. On the eastern slope of the site, there are remains of a workshop area with five levels of mining faces built with rough stones. Scattered throughout the surrounding area are remnants of silver ore slag, grinding stones, ditches, washing pools, bridge piers, and more. Associated cultural relics include the Tomb of Chen Longshan and the Ancestral Hall of the Chen Family.

Protected Area: Site of the Yindingban Silver Mine — East: from Iron Ore Pit Head to Lingwei to the ridge of Youzhuwan; South: ridge of Meihuaqi; West: Shuidoulong Ditch; North: road and ancestral hall. Total protected area: 0.2367 square kilometers (355 mu).

Tomb of Chen Longshan: the main body of the tomb extends 20 meters in all four directions — east, west, south, and north; Ancestral Hall of the Chen Family: the building extends 20 meters in all four directions — east, west, south, and north.

In 2009, the Site of the Yindingban Silver Mine was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Liming Village: Located at the seat of Qianping Township government, Liming Village enjoys very convenient transportation, being 26 kilometers from the county seat. The village covers a total land area of 7,076 mu, including 4,576 mu of forest land and 1,025 mu of arable land. It currently has 7 villager groups, 213 households, and 878 residents. There are 34 Party members, 3 branch committee members, 3 village committee members, and all six key staff positions are filled. The village has untapped mineral resources such as lead-zinc ore and limonite.
