The Site of the Soviet Government of Gaocai Township is a classic red tourism destination.

The Site of the Soviet Government of Gaocai Township is located at No. 15, Gaocai Village, Humei Township, Datian County, to the left of the former Gaocai Primary School.

In July 1934, with the assistance of the Red 7th and Red 9th Armies, the Soviet Government of Gaocai Township was established, with Liu Rihong serving as its chairman.

The Site of the Soviet Government of Gaocai Township was originally an ancestral hall where descendants of the Liu clan held clan worship activities. The building covered an area of 4.2 mu, faced west, and was of wood-and-earth construction. In 2009, due to the construction of the Minhu Reservoir, the entire village of Gaocai was submerged and the whole community was relocated. The site has since been destroyed.
