Yangyi Ancient City is one of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Handan City.

Yangyi Town: Located on the western edge of Wu'an City, the area features rolling hills and is surrounded by mountains. To the south lies the clear Zhang River. The town administers 44 administrative villages, covering a total area of 102 square kilometers, with a population of approximately 44,000. Adjacent to Zuojun County in Shanxi Province and Shexian County in Hebei, Yangyi Town is traversed by the Handan–Changzhi Railway, and intersected by the Pingshe Highway, Wuzuo Highway, and Ciyang Highway. A new cultural activity center has been built in the town center, along with the Wanshou Mountain Tourist Area and historical sites from the Han and Tang dynasties such as Bixia Palace, Tangwang Hall, and Chuangwang Xingguan.
