The Xinquan Revolutionary Memorial Hall is a classic red tourism destination, a patriotic education base, and a national defense education base.

The Xinquan Revolutionary Memorial Hall in Liancheng County was established in March 1959. It is administratively under the Liancheng County Culture and Sports Bureau, with a staffing quota of two and currently two staff members employed. Its mission is to be responsible for the protection and management of the Xinquan revolutionary heritage sites and the cultural relics in the museum’s collection. The hall also collects, organizes, preserves, researches, and exhibits cultural relics and historical materials related to the revolutionary history of Liancheng County and the history of the Communist Party of China. Its role integrates the protection of heritage sites, collection, display, research, and interpretation. Within its jurisdiction, six of the Xinquan revolutionary heritage sites are listed as part of the sixth group of Major Historical and Cultural Sites Protected at the National Level. It currently serves as a traditional education base for primary and secondary schools, a municipal-level patriotic education base, a provincial-level national defense education base, and a provincial-level Party history education base, among others.
