Southeast Flower Capital is situated in the prime section of Zhangzhou’s Hundred-Mile Flower Corridor at Makou, Zhangpu, next to National Highway 324. It has been the venue for all editions of the “Cross-Strait (Fujian·Zhangzhou) Flower Expo,” and is recognized as a national 4A-level tourist attraction, a national agricultural tourism demonstration site, and the core zone of the Fujian Zhangzhou National Agricultural Science and Technology Park, spanning a total area of 7,800 mu with an investment of 320 million yuan. The area includes a 2,700-mu Flower Expo Garden (featuring sections such as the Palm Garden, Splendid Zhangzhou Garden, Succulent Plant Garden, Banyan Bonsai Garden, Shade Plant Garden, Flower Corridor, Flower Cultivation Base, Land Art Exhibition Area, and Memorial Forest Plant Area), a 1,500-mu Southern Fujian Flower Production Technology Park, and a 20,000-square-meter main exhibition hall. The Flower Expo Garden comprises six gardens, six pavilions, one market, and one manor. The “six gardens” refer to the Splendid Zhangzhou Garden, Palm Garden, Banyan Garden, Succulent Plant Garden, Southern Fujian Fruit and Flower Garden, and Children’s Amusement Garden. The “six pavilions” include the Sprout Plant Pavilion, Desert Plant Pavilion, Stone Pavilion, Bonsai Masterpiece Pavilion, Exotic Orchid Pavilion, and Native Orchid Pavilion. The “one market” is the Flower Supermarket, and the “one manor” is the Zixi Manor within the Flower Expo Garden. It serves as a modern agricultural tourism destination integrating sightseeing, appreciation, leisure, entertainment, production, commerce, and processing.

With its enchanting floral landscapes, fresh natural scenery, and tranquil facilities like the Ceshipuxi Country Club, the Flower Expo Garden attracts visitors from both within and outside the city for leisure, vacation, conferences, or training. It is gradually becoming a renowned leisure and resort destination.

The “Flower Expo Garden” hosts the “Flower Expo” every November. Using flowers as a medium to create business opportunities, it serves as a platform for cultural, tourism, and trade activities, as well as cross-strait cooperation for mutual benefit and shared development, showcasing the humanistic image of Zhangzhou and Zhangpu. Nestled against mountains and water, the scenic area boasts lush flowers, vibrant life year-round, and the fragrance of blossoms in all seasons, presenting a harmonious landscape filled with cultural charm. Known as the “21-Degree Subtropical Ecological Garden,” it is a diverse grand showcase of modern agriculture and a key national flower market. The area includes “six gardens, six pavilions, one market, one manor, and one club.” Over 50 foreign-funded enterprises have invested 45 million USD here to cultivate world-renowned flower varieties. The scenic area features nine major categories of premium plants and flowers, with over 2,000 varieties, producing and selling tens of millions of plants annually—alone, over a million pots of Taiwanese Phalaenopsis are produced yearly. The area encompasses a 2,700-mu Flower Expo Garden, 4,500-mu flower and plant base, 500-mu technology park, 150-mu service area, a 15,000-square-meter main exhibition hall, and 40,000 square meters of temperature-controlled standard glass greenhouses for flower cultivation. There are also sports facilities such as archery, swimming, spa, fishing, kayaking, and outdoor adventure training. The scenic area has a 18,000-square-meter parking lot. The garden villa-style Sunshine Manor Hotel offers standard rooms, luxury suites, and hotel accommodations. The Ceshipuxi Country Club features 19 independent European-style villas, a spa center, conference center, and restaurant. Southeast Flower Capital has expanded from its original 613 mu to 7,800 mu, with an investment of 170 million RMB. It has been developed into a multifunctional eco-tourism complex integrating flower expos, business meetings, shopping, leisure vacations, ecological sightseeing, and outdoor adventure training.
