Zhangpu Chenghuang Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

As a temple dedicated to the deity who vanquishes evil, protects the nation, and ensures the safety and well-being of the people, Zhangpu Chenghuang Temple is located on South Street in Sui’an Town, Zhangpu County. According to the Zhangpu County Annals, the temple was originally built during the Shaoxing era of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127–1179 AD), and was later renovated in the third year of the Hongwu era (1370 AD), the fourth year of the Hongzhi era (1491 AD), and the 26th year of the Kangxi era (1687 AD) of the Qing Dynasty. These renovations gave the temple its current layout: facing south, it stretches 66 meters from north to south and 22 meters from east to west, covering a total area of 1,452 square meters. To preserve historical relics and revive folk beliefs, in 1993 a group of visionary individuals and devoted believers jointly established the Zhangpu Chenghuang Temple Historical and Cultural Council. They planned and initiated the reconstruction of the Chenghuang Temple, which has now seen the completion of the main hall along with the recasting of the deities' golden statues. Work continues on the construction of the temple’s first entrance gate and the overall development of the three-section complex.
