The Site of Feizi Street

The Site of Feizi Street is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Anhui Province.

The Site of Feizi Street is located in Feizi Street Village, Yangqiaoji, Linquan County, Fuyang City, on the west bank where the Xianhe River flows into the Quanhe River. It dates back to the Neolithic Age through the Han Dynasty.

The site stands 3 meters above the riverbed, stretching 300 meters in length and 150 meters in width, surrounded by water with a large gully formed by river erosion in the middle. Ancient artifacts such as stone adzes, pottery net sinkers, and pottery spinning wheels have been collected here. It is a site from the late Dawenkou Culture and early Longshan Culture. It was also the former residence of Fei Wují during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. Covering a total area of 36,000 square meters, it is an ancient site from the Neolithic Age to the Han Dynasty, rich in cultural significance and of high scientific value for the study of local history.

In 2012, the Site of Feizi Street was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Anhui Province.

Protected area: within the range between 33°00'36.0"N–33°01'01.7"N latitude and 115°22'30.1"E–115°22'53.9"E longitude, covering an area of 310,000 square meters.

Construction control zone: 20 meters outward from the perimeter of the site.
