Liu Ling Tomb Ruins Park is a cultural tourism attraction.

Liu Ling’s tomb is located at the northern end of Kouzi Market in Kouzi Town, Yingdong District. Legend has it that during the Western Jin Dynasty, Liu Ling—one of the “Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove”—traveled to Kouzi, drank wine brewed by Du Kang, and remained drunk for three years before waking up, thus giving rise to the touching legend of Du Kang brewing wine that intoxicated Liu Ling. The former Fuyang Brewing General Factory produced a liquor called “Liu Ling Drunk,” and the current “Drunken Three Autumns” liquor—both derive their names from this legend.

Liu Ling’s tomb was excavated and cleared in 1959. The burial site is a small single-chamber brick tomb, the structure of which was damaged when locals reinforced the embankment. The tomb bricks feature geometric patterns, fish-eye motifs, square-frame designs, and the tomb floor contains scattered human bones as well as pottery artifacts such as a green-glazed house model with a red base, pottery pigeons, and fragments of gray wavy-patterned and plain string-patterned pottery. Beside the tomb stands a stone stele inscribed with: “Tomb of Liu Ling of the Jin Dynasty. Erected with respect by Cheng Wenbao, Acting Provincial Road Official of Zhili with the Rank of Second-Class Plume, in the Mid-Autumn Month of the Third Year of the Xuantong Reign of the Qing Dynasty.” Currently, the Liu Ling Tomb Ruins Park is about to enter the specific construction phase.
