Kangqiao Ancient City Zi Site

The Kangqiao Ancient City Zi Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Ancient City Zi Site is located to the east of the Ancient City Zi Natural Village, Kangqiao Administrative Village, Kouzi Town. Locals refer to this place as the Western Ancient City (there is an ancient city to the north of Jiangkou Town in Yingzhou District, commonly known as the Eastern Ancient City). The site is square-shaped, with each side measuring 250 meters. The outline of the city walls is clearly distinguishable, and shallow ditches now occupy the locations of the original moats to the east, south, west, and north. The entire site is currently farmland, and many bricks were excavated from the area of the original northern city wall. Beneath the ground extending south from the southern gate, there used to be an arched passage that was 30 meters long and 3 meters wide, constructed entirely of bricks. It is said that this was an ancient city site dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period.

Kouzi Town: Kouzi Town is located 23 kilometers east of Fuyang City, covering a land area of 81.83 square kilometers. It administers 29 village committees, 8 neighborhood committees, 201 natural villages, and 409 villager groups. The town has 73,487 mu of cultivated land, 16,370 households, and a total population of 75,592. It borders Yanglouzi Town to the east, faces Xincun Town of Yingzhou District across the river to the south, neighbors Yuanzhai Town to the west, and adjoins Zaohuang Town to the north.
