Also known as Shie Mountain, Mount Jingangtai is located in the northwest of Tangjiahui Town, Jinzhai County, with its main peak reaching an elevation of 1,584 meters. It stretches northwestward to Shangcheng County in Henan Province and extends northeastward to Tiechong Township. With steep terrain and two towering peaks, it resembles a massive diamond gate standing on the border between Henan and Anhui provinces. Since ancient times, Mount Jingangtai has been a battleground for military conflicts—"a place where mountains stand in rows, hiding war within their folds."

The mountain is extremely rich in medicinal herbs. To date, over a hundred types have been identified, including dendrobium, silkworm excrement herb, gastrodia elata, fritillaria, and ganoderma lucidum. Among these, ganoderma lucidum is particularly precious, while gastrodia elata boasts the largest reserves.
