Jinzhai Leigong Cave

In a 5-kilometer-long Qiyun Mountain Grand Canyon in Qiyun Village, Xianghongdian Town, Jinzhai County, there is a cliff face covering over 200 square meters with a natural stone cave.

Leigong Cave is divided into upper, middle, and lower levels, each capable of seating or lying down dozens of people, stacked one above the other. The topmost level has a stone bed, with a small niche and Buddha statue above it. Due to its age, the stones have naturally weathered, and the cave ceiling is covered with neatly arranged stone pits. At the cave entrance, there are square stone holes each 15 centimeters wide, which were used by ancient people to erect posts and enclosures. Inside the cave, there is also a stone mortar, possibly used by Taoist priests for alchemy. Below the cave entrance, there is a series of stone steps, a passage carved by ancient people for easy access up and down.
