The Site of the Former Lu’an County Committee of the CPC and the General Headquarters of the Liuyinghuo Uprising is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province and a classic red tourism attraction.

The Site of the Former Lu’an County Committee of the CPC and the General Headquarters of the Liuyinghuo Uprising is located at Dongyue Temple in Wenjiadian Village, Yanzihé Town, Jinzhai County.

In the spring of 1930, the Lu’an County Committee of the CPC organized and launched an armed uprising in the three counties of Lu’an, Ying (Shan), and Huo (Shan). In March of the same year, the Lu’an County Committee of the CPC and the General Headquarters of the Liuyinghuo Uprising relocated here from Longmenchong near Dushan in Lu’an. Shu Chuanxian, Secretary of the Lu’an County Committee of the CPC, also served as the Commander-in-Chief of the Uprising General Headquarters; Zhou Zhi, a member of the Standing Committee of the County Committee, served as the Director of the Political Department; and Comrade Chu Minggu served as the Chief Secretary. On January 22, 1930, the Lu’an County Committee of the CPC integrated the guerrilla forces of the sixth, third districts, and two towns of Lu’an into the 33rd Division of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army at Liubochuang.

Wenjiadian Village: Wenjiadian Village is located in the central part of Yanzihé Town, covering 12 residential groups with 569 households and a population of 2,137, spanning an area of 180,000 square meters. The village currently has 55 Party members, 2 aspiring Party members, 16 households of capable Party member leaders, and 2 demonstration bases for Party member cadres. In 2007, the per capita net income was 3,039 yuan, with major cash crops including mulberry, tea, and lily.
