The former site of the Second Column Field Hospital of the Liu-Deng Army is located in Dutian Group, Wawuji Village, Tangjiahui Town. It dates to the modern era and is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative structure.

On June 21, 2019, the former site of the Second Column Field Hospital of the Liu-Deng Army was listed as part of the eighth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Jinzhai County.

Protected Area: the heritage site itself and a 3-meter margin to the east and west beyond the wall foundation, and a 2-meter margin to the south and north.

Construction Control Zone: a 60-meter margin to the east, south, west, and north beyond the protected area.

Wawuji Village: Wawuji Village is situated in the far northwest of Tangjiahui Town, on the border between Anhui and Henan provinces, within the mountainous regions of the 1,500-meter-high Jingtai Mountain and Foshan Temple ranges. The current Wawuji Village was formed in April 2008 through the merger of the former four villages—Waji, Shangtang, Zhanshan, and Foshan—comprising 49 villager groups, making it the most populous village in the town and even one of the most populated in the county.
