Dating to the modern era, it is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative architecture.

On June 21, 2019, the former site of a unit's encampment on the Zhu Gen River during the Liu-Deng Army’s advance into the Dabie Mountains was listed as part of the eighth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Jinzhai County.

Protective boundary: the heritage site itself and 3 meters west of the wall foundation, and 2 meters east, south, and north of the wall foundation.

Construction control zone: 80 meters east, south, west, and north beyond the protective boundary.

Wujiadian Town: Located in the southwestern border of Jinzhai County, Anhui Province, Wujiadian Town lies in the heart of the Dabie Mountains, bordering the Yangtze River to the south, connecting to the Beijing-Kowloon Railway to the west, adjacent to the Tianzhuang Mountain National Forest Park tourist area to the east, and linked to the Bogedoung National Forest Park in Hubei Province to the south. It sits at the junction of two provinces (Anhui and Hubei) and two counties (Jinzhai and Luotian). In April 1994, the former three small townships of Xizhuang, Baofan, and Wudian were merged into Wujiadian Town, which now governs 25 villages, 267 residential groups, and a population of 28,076.
