Dapu Rural World

Dapu Rural World is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Nanling Dapu Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Nanling County, Wuhu City, 20 kilometers from the county seat of Nanling and 15 kilometers from downtown Wuhu. Built around Lindu Weir and Puhu Lake and Chihu Lake, it is a natural river-lake type water conservancy scenic area. The scenic area spans 16 square kilometers, including 2.7 square kilometers of water surface. Its overall layout follows a “one core, one belt, five zones” structure: the tourism reception service center, the lakeside ecological landscape belt, the high-tech agricultural production sightseeing zone, the water conservancy technology and water culture experience and learning zone, the water area and ecological landscape resort zone, the wetland conservation sub-area, and the entrance/exit distribution and management zone.

Dapu Rural World is built upon the Dapu Construction Experimental Zone, a national-level agricultural tourism demonstration site, and represents a valuable exploration of the high-level integration of the “tourism industry and modern agriculture.” Once implemented, the project will create a new paradigm based on eco-agriculture and modern agricultural industrialization as operational foundations, enhanced by tourism sightseeing, rural experiences, and pastoral vacations, with a focus on science education and experiential learning.

The Science Education Agricultural Botanical Garden covers a construction area of 5,000 square meters and is divided into three zones: the soilless cultivation demonstration area, the desert plants area, and the tropical rainforest area. It serves educational, technological demonstration, and tourism sightseeing functions. The garden integrates displays, science education, and sightseeing, providing a rich platform for showcasing modern agricultural products, technologies, information, and aesthetics.

The Dapu Oasis Eco-Gourmet Park is entirely constructed with steel, featuring a roof with natural lighting provided by insulated conical sunlight panels and automatically controlled sunshade nets. The curtain wall is made of vacuum glass, while the interior utilizes ground-source heat pump heating and cooling systems, supplemented by advanced audio-light-electric automation controls to create a leisurely, elegant dining environment infused with the charm of water-town nostalgia.
