Jiulongbao Tumulus Tomb Cluster

The Jiulongbao Tumulus Tomb Cluster is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Anhui Province.

The Jiulongbao Tumulus Tomb Cluster is located in Nanling County, Wuhu City, dating back to the Zhou Dynasty.

Located in Shenting Village, Wuli Township, it lies 9 kilometers northeast of the county seat and 5 kilometers east of the county’s horticultural farm. Covering an area of 3 square kilometers, the tombs feature earthen mounds 2 to 5 meters high with base diameters of 8 to 20 meters. Arranged along the mountain ridge in a pattern of “one large mound surrounded by several smaller ones,” they date from the Western Zhou to the Spring and Autumn period. The site remains well-preserved and holds significant research value.

In 2012, the Jiulongbao Tumulus Tomb Cluster was designated as part of the seventh batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Anhui Province.

Protected Area: Centered on the tumulus tomb cluster, extending 1 kilometer east and west, and 1.5 kilometers north and south.

Construction Control Zone: Extending 100 meters beyond the protected area.
