Santan Island

Santan Island is located 10 kilometers from Qiandao Lake Town, at the junction of the central and southeastern lake areas of Qiandao Lake. It is connected to Qiandao Lake Town by road via Qingyun Bridge. The island features three main zones: the Mountain Village Heritage Scenic Area, the Animal Interactive Entertainment Zone, and the Specialty Dining Area.

In the Mountain Village Heritage Scenic Area, visitors can enjoy live root carving performances and tea art shows; the Stone Chime Pavilion allows you to listen to melodious music produced by stones. The Animal Interactive Entertainment Zone includes the Sturgeon Pavilion, Snake Garden, Deer Park, Wild Boar Forest, Carefree Bridge, Water Flying Show, and Children's Fun Park. The Specialty Dining Area houses a specialty restaurant covering over 800 square meters, where you can savor delicious local cuisine.

Qiandao Lake Town: Qiandao Lake Town is the county seat of Chun’an County and serves as the political, economic, cultural, transportation, and information hub of the entire county. It covers an area of 284 square kilometers with a total population of 62,000. The town governs 34 administrative villages and 8 communities. It lies 150 kilometers east of Hangzhou and 160 kilometers west of Huangshan. Provincial highways 05 and 06 lead directly to the town, and the ongoing construction of the Hangzhou–Qiandao Lake Expressway has further enhanced its transportation advantages.
