The Jilong Mountain Leisure Camping and Outdoor Training Base in Tonglu, Zhejiang, faces the "Yaolin Wonderland" — one of China’s Top Forty Tourist Attractions — across the river, connects to the Tiandou Diliu Scenic Area, and links to the Chuiyun Tongtian River.

The Jilong Mountain scenic area has a subtropical climate that is warm and humid, with an average annual temperature of 16.6°C, a daily average maximum temperature of 29.3°C, and a minimum temperature of 4.5°C, making it warm in winter and cool in summer. Due to good vegetation coverage, the average summer temperature is 4–6°C lower than that of Tonglu County. Owing to significant terrain variations between valleys and mountaintops within the scenic area, temperature conditions vary noticeably — the average summer temperature in the villages is below 23°C. The parking lot at the scenic area entrance sits at an elevation of 34 meters, the mountaintop campsite at 523 meters, and the highest point in the area reaches 818 meters, with nearly 800 meters of vertical elevation difference. Valleys, streams, high plains, and undulating peaks form a continuous landscape dotted with peculiar rocks and numerous caves, many of which contain hidden rivers and springs.

Jilong Mountain is a typical karst landform, standing at 818 meters above sea level. The area is often shrouded in clouds and mist, featuring rugged rocks and perilous landscapes. Attractions include the Demon-Suppressing Pillar, Demon-Suppressing Lock, ruins of ancient temples, ancient stone steps, ancient villages, sea of clouds and sunrise, Leopard Cliff, City Gate Cave, and Reclining Dragon Cave.

The Jilong Mountain scenic area has built an independent outdoor training base at the mid-mountain campsite, surrounded by green mountains, shaded trees, scattered farmhouses, birdsong, and insect chirps.
