The Site where the Zhejiang Provincial Committee Conveyed the August 7th Meeting Resolutions in Southern Zhejiang is a cultural tourism attraction and a classic red tourism destination.

In January 1928, Zheng Xin, a special envoy of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, was sent by the committee to southern Zhejiang. He contacted Lin Qu Bing, the secretary of the CPC Ruian Special Branch who was continuing underground resistance, and also reached out to key Communist Party members in Yongjia and Pingyang. On January 20 of that month, he presided over a meeting of the party leaders from Yongjia, Ruian, and Pingyang counties at Minglun Hall in the urban area of Ruian. At the meeting, the spirit of the August 7th Meeting of the Party and documents such as the "Zhejiang Current Work Outline Resolution" were conveyed. It was decided to restore and reorganize the Party’s organizations, lead peasants in armed struggle, and actively prepare for armed uprising. The meeting also resolved to establish the county Party committees of Yongjia, Ruian, and Pingyang. This meeting marked a turning point in southern Zhejiang from the failure of the Great Revolution to the rise of the Agrarian Revolutionary War.

Minglun Hall, the site where the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee Conveyed the August 7th Meeting Resolutions in southern Zhejiang, is located within the campus of Ruian Experimental Primary School in Qian Community, Yuhai Subdistrict, Ruian City. Built during the late Qing Dynasty, it was originally situated inside the Confucius Temple in the urban area of Ruian, where Sun Yirang, a master of textual research in the late Qing period, once gave lectures. It was later rebuilt as the auditorium of the county-run primary school (the predecessor of Ruian Experimental Primary School). In 1998, Minglun Hall was demolished, and the site was reconstructed into a comprehensive building for Ruian Experimental Primary School.
