Cliff Inscriptions at Cuiyin Cave

The Cliff Inscriptions at Cuiyin Cave are a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Cliff Inscriptions at Cuiyin Cave are located in Tingtian Town, Rui'an City, dating from the Song to the Republican period.

They record poems, inscriptions, and signatures left by notable historical figures from Zhejiang who visited here during the Northern Song to the Republican era. There are 25 inscriptions totaling 710 characters, and the site has been designated as a Zhejiang Provincial Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit. The inscriptions mainly date from the Song and Ming dynasties, featuring regular script, clerical script, running script, cursive script, and seal script. Among them, Chen Fuliang, a representative figure of the Yongjia School and a Jinshi (advanced scholar) of the Qiandao era from Rui'an, taught at Xianyan Academy and brought distinguished scholars and friends here twice for visits, leaving behind inscriptions.

On January 7, 2011, it was announced as part of the Sixth Batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units.
