Zheng Dexin’s Residence is a cultural heritage site protected by Rui’an City.

Zheng Dexin’s Residence is located at No. 30, First Alley, Yuhai Subdistrict, Rui’an City. Built in the early years of the Republic of China, it faces east and is a two-story building in the Qing-style architectural tradition. The structure spans five bays in width, with a total width of 16.62 meters, and four bays in depth, measuring 8.67 meters in total depth. The central bay on the southern side features a five-rafter beam that spans the full length of the eaves and uses five columns, employing a mixed post-and-lintel and through-tenon construction method. It has a flush-gable roof with a combination of concave and convex tiles.

Zheng Dexin, also known as Zheng Yishan, was a renowned calligrapher in Rui’an during the Republic of China period. He excelled in regular script, and his works are commonly found on folk birthday plaques and stone inscriptions.
