The Datan Mountain Celadon Kiln Site is located in Rong?? Village, Taoshan Town, Ruian City, covering an area of approximately 5,000 square meters. The thickest part of the deposit layer reaches up to 4 meters, and the site is relatively well-preserved. It belongs to the Ou Kiln celadon system and was active during the Northern Song Dynasty. The products include bowls, plates, jars, bottles, etc., with bowls being the most numerous. The body is hard and fine in texture, with a grayish-white color. The items were fully glazed, presenting a bluish-gray or yellowish-green hue, most featuring ice crackle patterns. Decorations include: round floral motifs incised on the interior base of bowls, as well as comb-patterned flower designs on the inner walls; lotus petal patterns incised on the exterior of jars, with plump petals; and double loops on the shoulder and neck of bottles, along with melon rib patterns incised on the body. Kiln furniture includes spacer rings, supports, and saggers. The saggers are all flat and round with an internal funnel shape. All items were fired upright and stacked in saggers.
