Baiyun Forest Park

Baiyun Provincial Forest Park is located to the north of Lishui City, about 5 kilometers from the urban area. It derives its name from the frequent emergence of white clouds amidst the mountains, which were once used to predict weather changes. In ancient times, Baiyun Mountain was one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Lishui. The park is covered with dense bamboo groves and ancient trees that sway in the breeze, filtering the sunlight. Visiting in the height of summer brings a refreshing coolness. It was designated as a provincial forest park in 1990. Attractions include Lingshan Temple, Lingjiu Chan Temple, the Bell and Drum Tower, as well as developed scenic spots such as the Baiyun Bamboo Path, Waterfall Treasure Cave, and the Verdant Sea of Wonders.
