Jiangnan She Ethnic Culture Village is located in Wuxi She Ethnic Township, Yunhe County, Zhejiang Province. With convenient transportation, a beautiful environment, and distinctive local features, it combines leisure, entertainment, and vacation, embodying the characteristics of Jiangnan-style She ethnic residences and folk culture. It is one of the key attractions within the Yunhe Lake Tourism Resort developed by Songcheng Group. The scenic area is divided into six zones: lakeside sightseeing, ethnic culture, medicinal plant viewing, natural landscapes, leisure vacation, and more. Jiangnan She Ethnic Culture Village is an ancient She ethnic village with a history of over 500 years, as recorded in the “Song of the Supreme Emperor.” The She people here have preserved their unique customs and traditions. It is the most complete and vibrant settlement where the “Three Rites and Two Cultures” of the She ethnic group are maintained, boasting a profound She ethnic cultural heritage. The main tourist activities in Jiangnan She Ethnic Culture Village include She ethnic mountain songs and tea ceremonies, totem culture, ritual dances, exhibitions of She ethnic costumes and cultural relics, She ethnic performing arts, wedding custom performances, traditional sports, and scenic spots of the She ethnic culture. The area is covered with ancient trees, swaying bamboo, and the soothing sound of clear springs, while the aroma of rice wine and a joyful atmosphere fill the air. Key activities in the village include She ethnic song and dance performances, wedding custom shows, ancestral worship ceremonies, She ethnic antiphonal singing, totem introductions, cultural exhibitions, costume displays, traditional sports, and ethnic photography. It is a vibrant tourist and leisure destination rich in ethnic culture. One of the most notable events takes place in Pingyanggang Village, located 8.5 kilometers southwest of Yunhe County. On the third day of the third lunar month each year, the village holds a grand “Third Month Third Song Festival,” attracting She people from surrounding areas and neighboring counties who come together to celebrate with song and dance.
