Yuan Yuan Garden

Yuan Yuan Garden is located in Huangpen Village in the northern part of Lanxi City. It is the birthplace of the Eastern Jin Dynasty immortal Huang Chuping. Legend has it that this was the spiritual site where Huang the Great Immortal and his brother crafted magical pottery. The beautiful and captivating myths and legends inspire the imagination.

The garden features structures such as a mountain gate, screen wall, Pujitang Hall, Quanshan Hall, Great Immortal Palace, and Scripture Repository. The Great Immortal Palace faces Huangdajian, the spiritual mountain where Huang the Great Immortal attained enlightenment, and is backed by Yangyuzhou, the legendary island where he herded sheep (Lingyang Island). The palace is exquisitely carved and elegantly decorated, enshrining a revered statue of Huang the Great Immortal.

Yuan Yuan Garden is not only an officially approved site for religious activities but also a tourist destination rich in cultural heritage and a relaxing retreat.
