Lanxi Jiqing Hall

Lanxi Jiqing Hall is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Address: Lanxi City, Jinhua, Zhejiang Province

The hall faces east and is arranged with three bays, four courtyards, and two narrow lanes. It has a total width of 13.75 meters and a total depth of 58.8 meters, topped with a flush gable roof. The first courtyard has a depth of six rafters, with a beam frame of a six-rafter rear eave corridor and a central pillar, and the front eaves feature a double-step rolled awning. The second courtyard has a depth of nine rafters, with a beam frame of five-rafter beams with front and rear double steps, and the main bay features bas-reliefs of lions and flowers under some of the rafters below the front and rear eaves. The third courtyard is similar in structure to the second, except that the front eaves have a double-step rolled awning. The fourth courtyard has a depth of seven rafters using four pillars, with a beam frame featuring a central pillar and front and rear double steps with a front corridor, and the front eaves columns are fitted with lattice doors and windows. A connecting corridor is set between the main bays of the third and fourth courtyards.

The hall is large in scale, uses standardized materials, features exquisite carvings, and is well preserved.
