The Zhu Family Shaode Hall

The Zhu Family Shaode Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province.

The Zhu Family Shaode Hall is located in the central part of Zhu Village, Zhu Family Administrative Village. It faces south and has a north orientation, featuring three bays, four courtyards, and three open halls, with a flush gable roof. It is well-preserved and dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

"Shaode Hall" serves as the communal hall for the entire village. It was built in stages, initially during the Yuan and Ming dynasties, and later expanded in the early years of the Republic of China. The main gate features a scholar’s plaque inscribed with the words “Famed Scholars of the Song Dynasty,” and there is an interior stage.

On January 7, 2011, it was announced as part of the sixth batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Units.
