Heling Temple

Heling Temple is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Site.

Heling Temple is located in Shanghua Subdistrict, Lanxi City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On January 13, 2017, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Sites by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province.

Shanghua Subdistrict: Shanghua Subdistrict is situated in the southern part of Lanxi City. To the east, it faces Lingdong Township across the Wuyi River; to the south, it borders Wucheng District of Jinhua City; and to the northwest, it is bounded by the Lanjiang and Qujiang Rivers, which separate it from Lanjiang and Yunshan Subdistricts. It serves as the southern gateway to Lanxi. The subdistrict covers an administrative area of 74.08 square kilometers, comprising one community neighborhood committee and 33 administrative villages. By the end of 2003, it had a total of 14,177 households, a population of 44,339, arable land of 43,863 mu, a combined industrial and agricultural output value of 1.57251 billion yuan, fiscal revenue of 12.67 million yuan, and per capita income of 3,637 yuan.
